2007 Bug Splat Wrap Up & Snaps

A nice representation of Club members dined at Zaxby’s before heading out for a drive around the lake: Bill & Bonnie Baugh, Brian & Donna Bogardus, John Bowles, John & Jackie Nicholls, David & Autumn Schumacher, Denny Smith, Rudy & Patti Wilmoth and Dave & Bobbie Winkler. Lonnie Best joined us for the meal with his new to him 2003 Shinsen Edition Miata. He had come out to the Peach Parade in June with intentions to join us more often, but an inattentive driver made a left turn in front of him totaling his Miata.

  • Dave & Autumn took home a Zoom-Zoom Enthusiast’s Picnic Basket along with the Biggest Bug trophy.
  • John & Jackie were awarded a neat Zoom-Zoom bag loaded with cleaning supply samples for having the Most Bugs.
  • Rudy & Patti snagged the Enthusiast’s Cafe Tote for Two because they had the Fewest Bugs.
  • And Bill & Bonnie took home a Zoom-Zoom Folding Stadium Blanket for geting a bug splat closet to their Anticipated Green Dot Target.
    •   Zaxby's   Miatas   Splat

There were plenty of spats, but this was the biggest bug that made it back intact.

Sno-Cap Drive-In Annversary

Sno-Cap Drive-In

We had a nice turn out, 7 cars and 10 people, for a last minute announcement, but then again who can resist a long dog with chili and slaw washed down with a root beer float in a frosty mug…apparently not Dave Winkler, Rudy Wilmoth, John & Jackie Nicholls, Dave & Autumn Schumacher, Brian Bogardus, Bill Baugh nor Stacey & Cindy Timmerman.
